All PLACEHOLDER garments are packed and dispatched from our Melbourne, Australia facility via Australia Post and partner global logistics networks.

Order Processing & Dispatch

• Processing Time: All orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days.

• Order Tracking: Once dispatched, an automated shipping confirmation containing your Australia Post tracking details will be sent directly to your email and phone number.

Delivery Options & Rates

Note: Delivery timeframes are estimated from the date of dispatch. Remote domestic regions and long-tail international destinations may experience slight transit variations.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

To ensure transparency across all global destinations:

• DDP Destinations (Delivered Duty Paid): Where supported at checkout, regional import duties and taxes are calculated and collected upfront. These orders are delivered with zero additional fees upon arrival.

• DDU Destinations (Delivered Duty Unpaid): If duties and taxes are not calculated or collected at checkout, your parcel will be shipped DDU. Any local import VAT, duties, or customs administrative charges assessed upon arrival are the responsibility of the recipient and must be settled with your local postal authority prior to delivery.

• How to Check Your Status: If a "Taxes & Duties Included" notice or explicit tax amount appears in your checkout total, your order is DDP. If no tax line item appears, your order will be processed DDU.

• Customs Clearance: PLACEHOLDER is not responsible for local carrier administration fees or delays resulting from local customs processing in DDU regions.

Delivery Security & Safe Drop

• Couriers may exercise Authority to Leave / Safe Drop if a secure location is available at your delivery address when no one is home.

• PLACEHOLDER is not liable for parcels lost, stolen, or misplaced after the carrier confirms successful delivery to your specified address or safe drop location. Please ensure your shipping destination is secure.

Returns

We offer free returns on all domestic and international orders within 15 days of delivery.

• Condition Requirements: All items must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in sellable condition with all original tags attached.
• Restocking Fee: Items returned without original packaging or missing tags but otherwise unworn and clean, will incur a 15% restocking fee deducted from your refund total.
• Rejected Returns: We cannot accept returns for items that show signs of heavy wear, washing, makeup/perfume odors, or structural damage. Ineligible items will be rejected for a refund and can be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
• Initiating a Return: Please email info@place-holder.co with your order number to start the return process.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges within 15 days of delivery for domestic orders.

• Damaged or Mislabeled Items: If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we will replace it free of charge within 15 days of delivery.
• International Exchanges: We do not offer direct exchanges for international orders. Please submit a return for your item and place a new order online.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your merchandise is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason without justification. Items must meet our return condition guidelines and be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once your item is received and inspected, we will notify you of your refund status via email.

• Processing Time: Approved refunds will be automatically applied to your original payment method within 10 business days.
• Bank Delays: Financial institutions may take additional time to post funds. If 15 business days have passed since your return approval, contact us at info@place-holder.co.
• Deductions: Applicable return shipping charges and any 15% restocking fees will be deducted from your final refund amount.
